Yinka has always had a flair and passion for event planning. During her university studies, she was always involved in planning all social functions, from awards night to end of year dinners and parties. Yinka continued in her passion in event planning when she moved back to Nigeria in 2009 and helped plan three of her friend’s weddings. The brilliant success of all three weddings along with encouragement from friends and family finally saw Yinka pursuing her passion as a career.
Yinka enrolled in one of Nigeria’s leading event management training schools to learn more about the industry and the day to day running’s of an event management company. After completing her training, attending leadership workshops, doing a lot of market research and praying, a name was selected, a logo was designed and MAGNA EVENTS was born!
Yinka has a BSC in Accounting and Financial Management and a master’s degree in International Human Resource Management from leading UK Universities. She also has a work experience in both fields both home and abroad. She also has a diploma in Catering from one of UK leading catering schools.
Yinka’s warm and caring attitude, attention to detail, attentive ear and can do spirit has made her clients confident that she is the best person for the job and relaxed when the event day finally arrives. She attributes her increasing client list to these factors and experience which have made Magna Events an emerging event company to look out for.
